Open-air summer with Gregory Porter, Ronan Keating and Fury in the Slaughterhouse — July 30 to August 9, 2026
The Lüneburg Summer of Culture is one of Lower Saxony's most prestigious open-air festivals. On the Sülzwiesen, eight major open-air concerts take place over two weekends, attracting up to 4,000 spectators per concert. In 2026, the festival runs from Thursday, July 30, to Sunday, August 9.
Note: The full lineup includes 8 concerts, with special acts during the midweek.
In the summer, the Sülzwiesen serve as Lüneburg's central festival grounds. With up to 4,000 seats per concert, they provide the perfect setting for international and German top acts — large enough for a true concert experience, yet intimate enough for a close atmosphere.
An organizational highlight: The festival operates exclusively on a cashless basis — payment at all stands via festival wristbands or cards. Top up on-site or online before your visit.
With Gregory Porter, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Ronan Keating, and Dick Brave, the Summer of Culture brings together stars from international jazz, German rock history, and the pop mainstream. This makes it a reliable summer meeting point for music fans throughout Northern Germany.
