Edition 2025 — Waldfest Luhnstedt

The 2025 edition of the Luhnstedter Waldfest ran classically over three days on the Pentecost weekend. Three-day passes were issued from Thursday at the festival grounds. Opening on Friday evening with a DJ set, Saturday the big festival day with a live band and a long party night, Sunday a quieter conclusion. As usual, it was a well-attended weekend with guests from all over Schleswig-Holstein.

The 2025 edition followed the format developed over decades: Thursday pass distribution, Friday opening with DJ, Saturday festival day with live band and long night, Sunday conclusion. As always, the organizers were the Luhnstedt and surrounding area youth club, supported by the volunteer work of its members.

Since the 1970s, the Waldfest has been a fixture in the calendar of the Schleswig-Holstein youth club scene. Its location on the edge of the Aukrug Nature Park — away from dense residential areas, with a large festival site in the forest — makes it possible to celebrate for three days with live music and DJ sets without noise conflicts. Entry and safety concepts followed youth protection regulations (16 with parental consent form, 18 free).
