Edition 2025 — Ludweiler Kirmes
The Ludweiler Kirmes 2025 took place from Saturday, September 13 to Tuesday, September 16, 2025, on Friedrich-Ebert-Platz. Four days of fair tradition with an opening by the youth fire brigade, barrel tapping, children's day with Clown Ludwinkus, and a grand fireworks display to conclude.
The 2025 edition consistently continued the proven format. It began on Saturday morning with the distribution of the Kirmes trees, followed by the official barrel tapping in the afternoon. Sunday and Monday featured family-friendly programs, and Tuesday concluded with the traditional fireworks display.

Saturday, September 13, 2025
- 10:00 AM — Distribution of Kirmes trees by the Ludweiler Youth Fire Brigade with brass music
- 5:00 PM — Official opening at Friedrich-Ebert-Platz with barrel tapping, free beer, Quetschekuche, and brass music
Sunday, September 14, 2025
- Main fair day with all rides open
- Visit from the district council in the afternoon
Monday, September 15, 2025 — Children's Day
- 3:30 PM–6:30 PM — Clown Ludwinkus with balloon animals
- Free face painting
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 — Family Finale
- 11:00 AM — Free carousel rides, ice cream, and popcorn for the two Ludweiler kindergartens
- Approx. 9:45 PM — Grand fireworks display
