Overview
In 2025, the Lucia Christmas Market once again invited visitors to the courtyards of KulturBrauerei: 70 stalls in a Scandinavian red-white look, Finnish and Swedish specialties, the historic children's carousel and the wooden horse archery range for families, plus the daily appearances of Santa Claus (5–6 PM) and the "walking angels" (8–9 PM). Open fires in iron pans provided warmth in the courtyard, and the market once again solidified its position as Berlin's most charming Advent market beyond the crowded city center spots.
The 2025 edition confirmed the Scandinavian concept: four weeks of Advent market at KulturBrauerei with 70 exhibitors, Finnish and Swedish specialties, family program, and a festive light display. Prenzlauer Berg — Berlin's family-bohemian district — boasts one of the capital's most relaxed Advent destinations with the Lucia Market. The market attracts a loyal regular audience from the Pankow district and the adjacent neighborhoods of Mitte and Friedrichshain.
