Christmas Market 2025 — Review
The Lübben Christmas Market 2025 once again brought together residents and guests around the Paul Gerhardt Church on the market square in the heart of the Spreewald town. Handicrafts, Spreewald specialties, stage program with schools and choirs, concerts in the church, and the famous ice rink — the combination that has characterized the Lübben Christmas Market for years also worked in 2025.
The Stadtwerke Ice Rink Lübben opened for the inauguration on Friday and remained in operation until the beginning of January 2026 — an offering that was particularly utilized by families from all over the Spreewald. The organizers remained the City of Lübben, Nachtflug Eventproduktion, and Restaurant La Casa.
The market is one of Brandenburg's most atmospheric Advent formats — the combination of the historic town center, Spreewald tradition, and the ice rink makes it unmistakable.
