Overview
Hagenow participated in the Long Day of Urban Nature in 2025. In the Bekow nature reserve, visitors experienced beekeeper tours, herb walks, and water explorations. Local clubs and actors presented themselves with information and regional products, and there were hands-on activities for children centered around local nature.
The Long Day of Urban Nature took place again in 2025 in the Bekow nature reserve, bringing nature closer to the residents of Hagenow. A beekeeper led interested guests to a bee colony through Bekow, a herb walk made local wild plants tangible, and the flora and fauna were explored at the water bodies. At the welcome plaza, the city of Hagenow and local clubs presented themselves with information and regional products. Hands-on activities invited children in particular to get to know nature actively.
