The 2025 Loitz Water and Harbour Festival attracted numerous visitors to the Peene Marina on the second weekend of September. With the band Honest on Friday, the duo Cora, and the cutter rowing races on Saturday, the festival offered a diverse programme centred around the maritime tradition of the Hanseatic town.

The 2025 edition of the Loitz Water and Harbour Festival brought together residents and guests at the sports boat marina in the town centre. On Friday evening, the band Honest provided entertainment on the harbour stage, and on Saturday, the duo Cora performed. The sporting highlight was the cutter rowing races with teams from the region, complemented by a boat parade, children's attractions, and a market for traders along the harbour promenade. The town successfully celebrated its traditional maritime Volksfest — and at the same time laid the foundation for the larger 2026 edition with the state championship.
