Overview
The Loitz Christmas Market 2025 took place on the second weekend of Advent from December 6th to 7th in the market street. In wintery weather, the small Hanseatic town on the Peene river attracted numerous visitors from the Vorpommern-Greifswald district.
The 2025 edition of the Loitz Christmas Market brought together locals and visitors in the historic old town around the market street. Stalls with mulled wine, bratwurst, and regional arts and crafts, a carousel for the little ones, and stage performances by local choirs and brass ensembles characterized the weekend. In parallel, the Loitz Local History Association in Peenestraße opened its traditional Advent market with homemade delicacies and gift items.
