Overview

The 72nd edition of the Lohhofer Volksfest took place in May/June 2025 on the festival grounds at Münchner Ring. The folk festival opened with the traditional beer tapping by the mayor, followed by the grand parade with over a thousand participants on Saturday. Family day, senior afternoon, and musical fireworks were again among the highlights.

As every year, the festival grounds at Münchner Ring transformed into an Upper Bavarian folk festival site for ten days in spring 2025. The festival tent, around 40 showman businesses, and the typical Wiesn atmosphere attracted thousands of visitors from Unterschleißheim, northern Munich, and the entire Munich district.

The parade on Saturday, with around 1,200 participants, once again drew a large crowd. The musical fireworks on Thursday evening were among the highlights, as was the family day with discounts on rides. As always, the city of Unterschleißheim, in cooperation with Forum Unterschleißheim, was the organizer.
