Overview

The 2025 Löcknitz Wine Festival took place at Löcknitz Castle. Under the theme »Why look far afield – the best wines from Germany«, the Heimat- und Burgverein served German wines for tasting and purchase, along with Federweißer and Zwiebelkuchen, live music, and dancing in the castle cellar and gallery. An atmospheric autumn festival with a community spirit.

The 2025 Löcknitz Wine Festival was themed »Why look far afield – the best wines from Germany« and celebrated German wine culture in the historic castle grounds. The Heimat- und Burgverein Löcknitz e.V. presented selected wines from classic German growing regions for tasting and purchase.

The castle cellar and gallery were open concurrently. In the vaulted cellar, guests tasted wines at long wooden tables, while standing tables and live music in the gallery fostered relaxed conversations. Federweißer and freshly baked Zwiebelkuchen completed the offerings. As always, the festival was run entirely by volunteers – the proceeds went towards the castle's upkeep.
