Musical for the Whole Family

The Lloyds Dancecenter Celle is one of the largest private dance schools in Lower Saxony and stages its own musical production every summer. The Lloyd's Musical Sommer Show brings together around 200 performers from the dance center – children, teenagers, and adults – for an elaborate show production.

Open-Air at the CD-Kaserne

The venue is the CD-Kaserne open-air stage, one of Celle's most important event locations. The former barracks have been converted into a socio-cultural center and, with its open-air stage in the courtyard, offers an ideal setting for large summer productions.

Musical Classics as a Cross-Section

The program includes excerpts from the most famous musicals – offering the appeal of a 'Best-of' show that transports you through many different worlds in just a few hours:

• Starlight Express – Andrew Lloyd Webber's roller-skating musical
• Rocky Horror Show – cult musical between pop, glam, and trash
• I Was Never in New York – the Udo Jürgens musical revue
• Other musical classics (ranging from Disney to Broadway)

Two Performances a Day

On August 23, 2026, there will be two performances: a matinee at 3:00 PM and a main performance at 6:00 PM. This makes the show attractive for families with younger children as well.
