In 2025, the Literaturtage Düsseldorf once again invited the city for eleven days — supported by Literaturbüro NRW, Heinrich-Heine-Institut, and zakk. Program highlights included poetry, novel readings, poetry slams, and socio-political discussion events. The festival further established itself as a central literary event in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The 2025 edition offered a dense reading program at various locations across Düsseldorf — from the neoclassical Heine-Institut to the alternative zakk. The mix of established authors and younger voices, from classic readings to slam formats, once again made the festival a meeting point for the NRW literary scene.
