Overview
In 2025, Heimbach was also a stop on the Lit.Eifel festival. A renowned author read from current works, bringing literature to the town in the Düren district on the edge of the Eifel National Park and engaging in conversation with the audience. The concept of the travelling festival — literature in unusual Eifel locations — proved successful once again.
In 2025, Lit.Eifel continued its tour through numerous Eifel towns. The Heimbach reading, as in previous years, offered an intimate setting for literary encounters with contemporary authors. The festival has established itself as a fixture in North Rhine-Westphalia's literary calendar.
