Light Nights Augsburg 2025 took place over three October evenings in 2025. Light installations and video mappings transformed Augsburg's city center into an explorable light art trail each evening from 7 PM to 11 PM, attracting thousands of daily visitors.
In 2025, Light Nights Augsburg once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the historic city center of the Swabian district capital. Over three October evenings, light artists from Germany and abroad illuminated the facades of central buildings with large-scale video mappings and projections, complemented by kinetic sculptures and interactive LED installations.
The free accessibility, the self-explanatory trail, and the recurring high-frequency weekend in autumn have secured the event's firm place in Augsburg's event calendar. The key dates for the 2026 edition were already announced in 2025.
