Edition 2025 — Liedermacher-Festival Kirchdornberg
The premiere of the Liedermacher-Festival Kirchdornberg in 2025 was a complete success: sold out, Hannes Wader as patron, an engaged audience from all over East Westphalia. Four singer-songwriters offered a program between protest song, poetry, and personal confession on the Kirchplatz of the Peterskirche. With this format, Dorfkrug Kirchdornberg e.V. sent a clear cultural signal.
The first edition of the Liedermacher-Festival Kirchdornberg in July 2025 was sold out — a success that encouraged the volunteer organizers of Dorfkrug Kirchdornberg e.V. Hannes Wader took over the patronage already for the premiere, giving the young festival a status that comparable new formats rarely achieve. The Liedermacher acts performed on a small stage in front of the west facade of the Peterskirche; the audience listened, applauded, sang along. Exactly this atmosphere is to be evoked again in 2026 for the second edition.
