Heilbronn was already a firm part of the Lidl Tour of Germany in 2025. The professional teams from the UCI ProSeries raced through Heilbronn's city center, the audience along the route cheered them on, and the supporting program (ADAC Cycling Tour, Newcomer Race, Children's Tour) filled the entire day.
The successful staging of the 2025 stage earned Heilbronn the final stage of the tour for 2026 — a clear commitment from organizers and sponsors to the Heilbronn cycling route and the city as a venue.
