Overview

The 2025 Light Art Week at the Brandenburg Cathedral courtyard was part of the 21st Festival of Lights Berlin. For a week, the historic courtyard at the Cathedral shone with the colors of renowned light artists. The event once again attracted light art fans from Berlin and West Brandenburg.

The Lichtkunstwoche 2025 at the Burghof in Brandenburg an der Havel was once again part of the major Festival of Lights Berlin. In October 2025, the courtyard at the Cathedral transformed into an open-air gallery for a week, attracting thousands of visitors from the Berlin area and the Havel region.

The success of the 2025 edition — amplified by the growing interest in light art and art outside of Berlin's major stages — paves the way for the 2026 Light Art Week, which will be further expanded as part of the 5th anniversary of the Hotel Brandenburger Dom.
