Lichtenrader Lichtermarkt

With its 47th edition, the 2025 Lichtermarkt also celebrated the 650th anniversary of Lichtenrade. The Tempelhof-Schöneberg District Office combined the market format with a lighting installation in the village center: the village pond and church were illuminated nightly between November 30 and January 6 – an enhancement that significantly upgraded the market's character.

The range of goods and the structure of the organizers remained unchanged: 120 stalls from associations, schools, church communities, and initiatives from Lichtenrade and the surrounding area, offering wooden goods, ceramics, beekeeping products, homemade baked goods, and grilled food. The proceeds, as usual, went to social projects run by the associations. With the anniversary lighting, the market gained an additional wave of visitors from central Berlin in 2025.
