Overview

The 30th edition of the Lichtenberger Lichtermarkt took place on the 1st Sunday of Advent, November 30, 2025, in front of Lichtenberg Town Hall on Möllendorffstraße. The district office, associations, schools, and kindergartens enlivened the forecourt from 1 PM to 6 PM with crafts, mulled wine, a stage program, and the traditional auction. Free admission.

With its 30th edition, the Lichtermarkt celebrated a small anniversary in 2025. The Lichtenberg District Office continued the proven format: a central opening at 1 PM by the district mayor, continuous market operation with around 60 stalls, a stage program featuring school and brass choirs, plus the traditional auction.

As in previous years, the stall operators were mainly from charitable organizations in the district. The range of goods included handmade toys from school workshops, pottery, crafts, Christmas baked goods, mulled wine, and hot food. The registration deadline for stalls was set by the district office for the end of October 2025 to ensure a balanced selection of stalls.
