Edition 2025 — Meadow Festival Lichtenberg
The 2025 Homeland and Meadow Festival took place on the third weekend in July (July 26–28) at the Frankenwaldsee. With flower arches, flower dances by the girls, crossbow shooting by the boys, and a festive parade, the town of Lichtenberg continued its tradition maintained since 1832.
The 2025 Meadow Festival seamlessly continued the over 190-year tradition of the Lichtenberg Homeland Festival. For three days, artfully tied flower arches characterized the festival's appearance at the Frankenwaldsee.
The girls danced their flower dances in red skirts, the boys competed in crossbow shooting; the festively decorated parade from the castle hill to the Frankenwaldsee once again formed the highlight. Music, catering, and children's games rounded off the festival, which attracted numerous visitors from the Frankenwald region again.
