Overview
31st City Festival 2025 — Successful Prelude to the Anniversary Edition
On the weekend of July 19th and 20th, 2025, the Rainbow Quarter in Berlin-Schöneberg once again transformed into Europe's largest queer street festival. On the 20,000 m² festival grounds around Nollendorfplatz — along Motzstraße, Eisenacher Straße, Fuggerstraße, and Kalckreuthstraße — around 500,000 visitors gathered. Six stages — from Main Stage A to the KISS-FM Stage, the FLINTA* Stage, SUNSHINE LIVE, and QUEER MEDIA to the BOXER Stage — provided a dense program of live concerts, DJ sets, ballroom performances, and cabaret between 11:00 AM and 11:00 PM (Saturday) and 9:00 PM (Sunday). The six festival worlds — Film, Politics, Health, Sports, FLINTA* Visibility, and Fetish — offered information, counseling, and community meeting points alongside the stage program. As always, organizer Regenbogenfonds der Schwulen Wirte e.V. combined the festival with its anti-violence profile and a clear political mission — a prelude to Berlin Pride Week, which culminated with CSD a week later.
