In 2025, the Leipzig Spring Fair also opened the Cottaweg festival grounds for six weeks. Classic rides, Family Day on Wednesdays, and Ladies Night on Fridays have been part of the Leipzig Showmen's Association's regular repertoire for years. Fireworks displays on weekends form the visual highlight of the season.
Spring Fair — The Tradition
The Cottaweg festival grounds have been Leipzig's showmen's area for generations. The spring and autumn dates share the annual rhythm, with the spring edition traditionally running from early April to mid-May. The mix of family entertainment during the day and adrenaline rides in the evening attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from Leipzig and the region every year.
