Overview

The 33rd edition of the Lauscha Christmas Bauble Market took place in 2025 on the first two Advent weekends. Mouth-blown Christmas baubles, live glassblowing at Foundry Square, the Foundry Christmas at the Elias Glassworks, and the Christkindl Manufaktur attracted tens of thousands of visitors from all over Germany to the glassblowing town in the Thuringian Forest.

2025 Review

The 33rd season confirmed the Lauscha Christmas Bauble Market as one of the most important destinations for handmade Christmas glass in the German-speaking world. The Glass Mile and Foundry Square were well-attended on both weekends; the glassworks families presented new designs and sustainable packaging solutions. The Glass Museum hosted an extensive special exhibition, and the intangible UNESCO cultural heritage of Lauscha glass production was highlighted multiple times.
