Overview

The Laufsporttag Kempten 2025 took place in April 2025 at the Residenzplatz. For the first time, the GEIGER-FM Quarter Marathon (10.5 km) was added to the range of distances, bringing the total to four: Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, 5000m Run, and KidsRun. Allgäu's largest running event saw around 2,500 finishers at the start.

The 2025 edition of the Laufsporttag Kempten introduced the GEIGER-FM Quarter Marathon (10.5 km) as a new addition to the route formats. This brought the total number of distances to four: Sparkasse Allgäu Half Marathon (21.1 km), Quarter Marathon (10.5 km), PRÄG 5000 Run (5 km), and Sparkasse Allgäu KidsRun for children.

As always, the start and finish for all routes were at the Residenzplatz in the centre of Kempten's old town. The event was still organised by Sportgemeinschaft Sparkasse Allgäu e.V. in collaboration with Laufsport Saukel; timing by Abavent. The event was part of the Laufsport-Saukel-Cup and brought around 2,500 finishers to the finish line.
