Overview

The 24th Langenachtderkunst Gütersloh 2025 once again drew thousands of visitors to the city centre. Around 40 stations from 7 PM to midnight offered art, music, performance, and interactive activities — from Big Band in the Martin Luther Church to surrealist installations in artist studios.

The 2025 edition, the 24th since its inception, solidified the Lange Nacht der Kunst as a cultural highlight in Gütersloh's annual calendar. Around 40 stations spread across the city centre, several thousand visitors, and the participation of the Citizens' Foundation as a central supporter — a format that once again proved successful in the run-up to the 25th anniversary edition.

Programme

~40 stations in Gütersloh city centre from 7 PM to midnight: City Museum, Martin Luther Church (Big Band), Lange Nacht der Tasten, Black-and-White Photography, surrealist performances, and participatory installations. Opening on Berliner Platz with a dance performance.
