Overview
In 2025, Charité Campus Mitte once again opened its doors for the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften — with around 85 program points, keynotes on chronobiology and autoimmune diseases, a science slam, hands-on workshops for families, and special exhibitions at the Berliner Medizinhistorisches Museum. The DRFZ, the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology, and the Museum für Naturkunde complemented the program. Over 400 researchers presented their work to a broad audience, and the ticket also served as a public transport pass for Berlin.
The 2025 edition followed the established concept: Charité Campus Mitte as the central program location, complemented by the DRFZ, the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology, and the Museum für Naturkunde. Over 400 researchers presented keynotes, workshops, and hands-on stations for families. The Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften has been a reliable fixture in Berlin's science calendar since 2001, making visible for one night what happens throughout the year in Berlin's research landscape.
