Overview

The Landshuter Altstadtfest 2025 took place as usual on the late-Gothic old town axis between the town hall and the Ländtor. Two days of live music, beer garden operation, and culinary delights with free admission.

In 2025, the Altstadtfest once again transformed Landshut's medieval city center into a summer festival mile. Several stages with bands playing rock, pop, and cover music performed throughout the weekend, along with acoustic acts and singer-songwriters in the side streets. Innkeepers and festival caterers shared the gastronomic offerings, with a central beer garden connecting the main square and the axis to the Ländtor. The concept of free admission and musical diversity has been the core brand of the festival for years, ensuring high acceptance among Landshut residents and day-trippers from northern Munich and the region.
