Overview

The 26th Landower Musiksommer 2025 comprised around 15 concerts and events between Easter and Erntedank in the Landow church. Chamber music, vocal projects, services, and the traditional music festival of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern characterized the season — supported by the Freundeskreis Kirche zu Landow e.V.

In 2025, the Landower Musiksommer already combined sacred music, classical chamber formats, and festival concerts in the historic timber-framed church. The close connection to the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock guaranteed musical quality and young talent promotion; the traditional music festival of the Festspiele MV formed a festive highlight in early summer.

With concert formats such as 'Kammermusik am Meer', performances by the Mecklenburgische Bläserakademie, and vocal projects, the 2025 Musiksommer continued its profile as one of Rügen's most distinctive concert series — setting a precedent for the 27th edition in 2026.
