Overview

The previous State Gymnastics Festival Baden-Württemberg took place in 2022 in Lahr (Black Forest). Thousands of athletes from the gymnastics and sports clubs of Baden-Württemberg once again demonstrated the breadth of German amateur sports — from artistic gymnastics and athletics to fistball and trampoline. The next State Gymnastics Festival in 2026 will be held cross-border in Konstanz and Kreuzlingen.

State Gymnastics Festival BW 2022 in Lahr

In May 2022, the State Gymnastics Festival brought thousands of athletes to Lahr in the Black Forest. As with every edition, the full spectrum of German gymnastics was on the program — artistic gymnastics, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, trampoline, fistball, Indiaca, basketball.

Lahr proved to be a successful host and set a high bar for the next edition. In 2026, Konstanz will take over — and for the first time in history, will make the State Gymnastics Festival a cross-border event with its Swiss partner city Kreuzlingen.
