In 2025, the SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach hosted another diverse open-air concert season with international headliners from pop, rock, and electronic music. Kygo was not a guest in 2025 – the Tropical House concert in Mönchengladbach in 2026 is his first show at SparkassenPark.

SparkassenPark Concerts 2025

In the summer of 2025, several major open-air concerts took place at SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach – including performances by Iron Maiden, Beth Hart, and James Blunt. For over a decade, SparkassenPark has been one of the most important concert venues in North Rhine-Westphalia, attracting around 200,000 visitors annually to its various events.

With the announcement of Kygo's open-air show on August 8, 2026, in spring 2026, SparkassenPark is making another statement: the Norwegian Tropical House star is coming to Mönchengladbach for the first time, underscoring the star's tour strategy towards mid-sized West German cities.
