Overview

The 12th Kunstmeile in Weitlingkiez ran from September 13 to October 12, 2025, as a decentralized neighborhood exhibition. Around 30 shops and institutions in Weitlingkiez, Berlin-Lichtenberg, presented works by local artists in shop windows and interiors. Opening festival at the Weit.Blick neighborhood center, guided tours every Saturday from Münsterlandplatz. Organizer: Stadtteilkoordination Lichtenberg Mitte. Free admission.

The 12th edition in 2025 continued the decentralized model established in 2014, confirming Weitlingkiez as one of the prominent Berlin art neighborhood locations away from the central gallery scene in Mitte and Charlottenburg. Four weeks of shop window exhibition with around 30 participating locations, curated Saturday tours, and an opening festival at the neighborhood center formed the structure. The edition led directly to the 13th Kunstmeile in 2026, which runs from September 13 to October 11, 2026.
