Overview

In 2025, the Swabian town of Monheim once again invited visitors to the KunstHandWerkMarkt in its historic old town on a Sunday in May. Selected artisans from the Monheim region presented their handmade works between the city gates, complemented by a Sunday with open shops and a family program.

The 2025 edition of the KunstHandWerkMarkt Monheim continued the tradition of the market, which evolved from the former May Market. Selected exhibitors showcased jewelry, ceramics, wood art, and textile unique pieces in the historic old town – on the Marktplatz, Kirchstraße, and Am Klosterhof.

The market was accompanied by a Sunday with open shops at Monheim's specialist stores, as well as culinary stalls and children's attractions. The market confirmed its reputation as a popular spring excursion destination in the western Altmühltal.
