Edition 2025 — KUNST trifft WEIN
The 2025 edition of KUNST trifft WEIN coincided with the 650th anniversary of the Berlin district of Lichtenrade and ran from May 1st to 4th, 2025 — one day longer than usual. Around the Lichtenrader Dorfteich, ~100 exhibitors presented wines, arts and crafts, and specialties, complemented by an expanded live music program celebrating the anniversary. The edition attracted thousands of visitors from all over Berlin and definitively established the festival as a fixture in the southern city district.
The 2025 edition was special because it incorporated the 650th anniversary of the Lichtenrade district. The festival ran for four days instead of the usual three and included additional program items for the anniversary — readings on Lichtenrade's history, expanded musical performances, and special events around the village pond. The ~100 exhibitors — winemakers from German and neighboring countries, artisans, culinary specialists — presented themselves in a familiar wine festival atmosphere. Family & Friends e.V. used the anniversary for a notable edition that strengthened the format for the following years.
