Overview

In 2025, the Kultursommer Horn once again shaped the cultural life in Horn-Bad Meinberg for three weeks. The Long Night of Culture attracted hundreds of visitors to the castle, Art on the Wall transformed the town wall into an open-air gallery, and Music by the Wall brought several open-air concerts to the summer evenings. Organizer In Horn Gemeinsam e.V. once again reported a positive outcome for the combination of historic setting and contemporary art.

The 2025 edition continued the proven three-format concept: Long Night of Culture as the flagship event in the rooms of Horn Castle, Art on the Wall as an outdoor exhibition along the historic town wall, and Music by the Wall as an open-air concert series against the castle backdrop.

The citizens' association In Horn Gemeinsam e.V. and the Stadtmarketing Horn-Bad Meinberg curated the program with artists from Lippe and national guests. The three-week format allowed for multiple visits – a successful concept firmly established in the Lippe summer calendar.
