Overview

In 2025, the Burgau Cultural Office already hosted the Kultursommer in the castle courtyard — four evenings of music, each with its own musical character, from Bavarian cabaret to newcomers and rock to Mediterranean sounds. Alternative venue in case of bad weather: Kapuziner-Halle.

The 2025 edition continued the established four-evening format of Kultursommer Burgau in the historic castle courtyard. Over consecutive June evenings, the festival offered a varied program of music, cabaret, and promotion of young talent, organized by the Cultural Office of the City of Burgau in the Günzburg district.

As every year, the atmospheric setting of the castle courtyard was the focus, with the Kapuziner-Halle serving as an alternative venue independent of the weather. The 2025 edition marked the start of the anniversary year and paved the way for the 11th edition in 2026.
