The Cannstatt Fasnet 2025 proceeded as usual with the Festive Weekly Market, Town Hall Storming, and Kübelesrennen on Schmotziger Donnerstag, followed by the children's parade on Fasnetsdienstag and the Geldbeutelwäsche on Ash Wednesday. The Kübelesmarkt e.V. continued the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet tradition, maintained since 1828, without interruption.
Cannstatt Fasnet 2025
The 2025 Fasnet week in Bad Cannstatt followed the established program: Schmotziger Donnerstag with the Festive Weekly Market, Town Hall Storming, and Kübelesrennen, Fasnetsdienstag with the children's parade, and Ash Wednesday with the Geldbeutelwäsche at the Erbsenbrunnen.
Bad Cannstatt is one of the most traditional venues for Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet — alongside Rottweil, Schramberg, Villingen, and Elzach, it is one of the iconic centers of the custom. The Kübelesrennen is a distinctive element unique to Cannstatt and attracts teams from sports, politics, and business every year.
