Overview

The Krüglmarkt Amberg 2025 took place at the end of April on Malteserplatz and Georgenstraße. As every year, the Beer Festival on Bleichwiese accompanied Saturday, and on Sunday, Sunday shopping opened with the traditional duck race in the Vils.

The 2025 edition of the Krüglmarkt confirmed the success of the market, managed since 2023 by Anno Stock and Joana Mader. On Malteserplatz and Georgenstraße, numerous ceramists presented their craftsmanship – from tableware to sculptures, garden ceramics, and jewelry.

The "XXL Weekend" in Amberg combined the Krüglmarkt, the Beer Festival of all six Amberg breweries, Sunday shopping, and the duck race in the Vils into a packed festival weekend. The medieval old town setting around St. George's Church provided the perfect backdrop for pottery craftsmanship and the dragon mascot.
