Edition 2025 — Kronach City Festival

The Kronach City Festival 2025 took place on September 6th and 7th in the city center. As every year, Saturday focused on the Weißwurst breakfast from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, followed by a fashion show, children's activities, and an evening program. Sunday combined the civic festival with Sunday shopping (1 PM–6 PM) and the Kronach Auto Kilometer car exhibition. Organizer: Aktionsgemeinschaft Kronach 1974 e.V.

2025 City Festival in Retrospect

In 2025, Kronach once again used the first weekend of September for its classic city festival. The proven program – Weißwurst breakfast, fashion show, children's program, Auto Kilometer, Sunday shopping – continued unchanged. Several tens of thousands of visitors from the Kronach district and the adjacent Franconian Forest used the weekend for the festival and a stroll through the city center.

Aktionsgemeinschaft as Organizer

In 2025, the Aktionsgemeinschaft Kronach 1974 e.V. organized the city festival with its approximately 200 member businesses. This marketing association not only supports the city festival but also the entire Kronach event calendar (Historical City Spectacle, Christmas Market, etc.) – an activity that is increasingly rare in German medium-sized cities but is particularly prominent in Kronach.
