In 2025, the Kreuzberg Pilgrimage also ran from August 20 to 24, from Würzburg's Neumünsterkirche to Kreuzberg in the Rhön. Several hundred pilgrims completed the traditional route of approximately 172 kilometers over five days.

The 2025 edition took place from August 20 to 24. As in previous years, pilgrims gathered in the early morning hours at the Neumünsterkirche in Würzburg and set off together for Kreuzberg in the Rhön.

The five-day walking pilgrimage of approximately 172 kilometers was characterized by prayer, singing, and quiet contemplation, once again confirming its status as one of Lower Franconia's most significant religious customs.
