Overview
The Waidhaus Music Association has been shaping the musical life in the market town of Waidhaus in the Oberpfalz region for decades – at concerts, association festivals, and regional music gatherings. In preparation for its 40th anniversary, the association and its musical ensembles were active in various events in the region in 2025, preparing for the grand district music festival in 2026. Brass band music is firmly rooted in the customs and community of the northern Oberpfalz; the district music festival with its star march and joint choir will be a sonorous highlight of this tradition in 2026.
