Edition 2025 — KMF Schmiechen
The Schmiechen Father's Day Festival 2025 took place as every year on Ascension Day in the festival tent of the Musikverein Schmiechen. Morning pint, beer tapping, brass music, and a cozy festival tent atmosphere characterized the day. 2025 was a regular edition without the multi-day Kreismusikfest, which will be hosted in Schmiechen in 2026.
In 2025, the Musikverein Schmiechen continued the tradition of the Father's Day Festival. On Ascension Day, residents of Schmiechen and neighboring communities gathered in the festival tent — a morning pint, beer tapping, live brass music with the association's bands, and Swabian-Bavarian cuisine provided the setting.
Preparations for the 2026 Kreismusikfest were underway in parallel in 2025: program planning, setting up the festival website kmf-schmiechen.de, contacting competition bands, and bookings (especially the Schürzenjäger performance). Thus, 2025 also served as a preparatory year for the major double event of the following year.
