Edition 2025 — Kreismusikfest Schmiechen
The 51st Kreismusikfest of the Ulm Alb/Donau Brass Music Association took place in 2025 as a traveling event at another member association of the league. The traditional program structure with a costume party, Father's Day morning pint, concert evening, and a grand festival Sunday with competition performances, mass choir, and parade was consistently maintained and attracted several thousand visitors from the Alb-Donau district and beyond.
51st Edition 2025
The Kreismusikfest travels annually from association to association within the Ulm Alb/Donau Brass Music Association. The 2025 edition followed the proven format: costume party to open the festival tent, morning pint on Ascension Day holiday, concert evening with guest artists from the Alpine region, and festival Sunday with competition performances and a grand parade.
The competition performances are held in several skill categories, and the mass choir unites all participating associations for a joint concert on the festival grounds. The festival parade traditionally marks the conclusion and leads through the host village, accompanied by thousands of spectators along the route.
