The 46th edition of the Krefeld Folklore Festival took place from August 22 to 23, 2025, at the Platz der Alten Kirche. International folk and world music program for several thousand visitors — and once again proof of why the format is considered the oldest of its kind in Germany.
The 46th edition of the Krefeld Folklore Festival in 2025 continued its decades-long success story. With an international line-up and the proven free concept, the festival attracted several thousand visitors. The main stage and market stage offered folk and world music in great stylistic diversity on both days. Werkhaus e.V. and the City of Krefeld drew a positive conclusion and announced the 47th edition in 2026 with a clear focus on "FEMINAS – Women of the World" on Friday.
