Overview
The Krebsbachfest Rackwitz 2025 once again confirmed its role as the largest summer festival in the northern Leipzig area. Three days of live music, DJ sets, and family programming on the Podelwitz festival grounds by the Schladitzer Bucht marked the weekend — with free admission.
In 2025, the program was again spread across two main stages and a continuous family program. The Rackwitz municipal administration coordinated the festival in cooperation with local clubs, sponsors, and artist agencies from the Leipzig region.
The free admission model was confirmed again in 2025 and is a key reason for the festival's popularity — many families from the northern Leipzig area use the last weekend of July for a visit.
