Kraut & Rüben Open Air — Edition 2025

In 2025, the Kraut & Rüben Open Air once again transformed the Wilhelminenaue into a meeting point for the alternative Bayreuth cultural scene. DJs provided electronic sounds on the lake stage, while live bands played off the mainstream in the hedge theater. Families celebrated amidst picnic blankets on the meadow; the festival remained true to its non-commercial, ecological concept – without sponsors, with reusable cups and regional drinks. With free admission, visitors of all generations experienced a day of communal, peaceful culture in the green riverside park.
