Edition 2025 — KOSMOS Chemnitz
KOSMOS Chemnitz 2025 took place in the Schlossteich area — in the year of the European Capital of Culture. The festival attracted around 115,000 visitors and is considered one of Chemnitz's most visible civic events during the Capital of Culture year.
During the Capital of Culture year, KOSMOS used the Schlossteich as its central festival area. The program combined music, talks, sports, art, and economic formats; the participation of local initiatives, associations, and citizen groups was a central part of the concept. With approximately 115,000 visitors, this edition set a new benchmark for the festival and laid the foundation for the spatial expansion in 2026.
