Overview

The Kordigast-Berglauf 2025 took place on Saturday, November 22, in Weismain — a classic late autumn date on the Upper Franconian mountain running scene. Over 5 kilometers and approximately 220 meters of elevation gain, the course led from the Weismain sports grounds up to the Kordigast (497 m), the northernmost summit of the Franconian Alb.

TV Weismain 1904 e.V. once again organized the Kordigast-Berglauf 2025 as a challenging mountain running opportunity. Despite the frosty late autumn temperatures, the race is popular among mountain runners and trail runners from Upper and Middle Franconia.

The course is considered very demanding: over just five kilometers, approximately 220 meters of elevation gain must be overcome, resulting in an average gradient of 4–5 percent, with significantly steeper sections in the final ascent to the summit. Rankings were awarded in individual and team categories.
