Overview

In 2025, the concert summer also ran weekly from June to September in the St. Marien Church Bergen on Rügen. The proven dramaturgy of organ recitals, choir, and brass program once again characterized the Wednesday evenings on the island.

An Established Summer Institution

The Konzertsommer St. Marien has been a fixture in Rügen's summer program for many years. In 2025, the series once again filled the island's largest church every Wednesday at 8 PM from June to September. The Grüneberg organ was, as always, the focus, complemented by a gospel choir, a brass ensemble, and a festive closing concert with choir and orchestra.

The season was, as usual, supported by the Evangelical Parish of Bergen and the Friends of St. Marien e.V., whose donations also enable the ongoing maintenance of the church and organ.
