Overview
In the spring of 2025, the Friends of Music association also organized a concert series in the Bordesholm Monastery Church. As every year, the focus was on choral music (Bordesholm Kantorei, invited ensembles), chamber music with students from music universities, and organ music in cooperation with the Altholsteiner Organ Concerts. The concerts took place between March and June.
The 2025 spring series followed the proven programming logic of the Friends of Music association: top-class soloists, regionally rooted choral projects, an organ focus, and a grand finale concert with choir and orchestra. The Monastery Church once again offered its unique acoustics for works from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods.
The organizer was the Friends of Music in the Bordesholm Monastery Church association.
