KÖNIGSKLASSE — Stage for German-language Rap

The KÖNIGSKLASSE Dortmund Open Air celebrated its premiere in 2025 and returns in 2026 for its second edition. Conceived as a stage for German-language hip-hop from underground legends to newcomers, it brings a packed lineup to the outdoor floor of JunkYard Dortmund on May 30, 2026.

Line-up 2026 — Old School Meets Underground

The officially confirmed lineup gathers key names from German rap history:

• Main Concept (Munich) — Underground veterans of the Bavarian rap scene
• Creutzfeld & Jakob (Witten) — Ruhr area rap with a long tradition
• Mar Stieber & Cora E with Aphroe — Cora E is considered a pioneer of German-language rap
• DJ Mirko Machine (Hamburg) — Top-class turntablism
• Ferris MC & DJ Stylewarz — Hamburg rap duo
• ABS (Wesel) — Lower Rhine rap
• Doze (Dortmund) — City representative
• MC Rene & Figub Brazlevič — Battle rap legend with a Berlin producer

JunkYard — Industrial DIY Atmosphere

The JunkYard at Schlägelstraße 57 in the Huckarde district is one of Dortmund's most extraordinary concert venues — a former scrap yard transformed by an association into an open-air site with a main stage, ship container sculptures, and graffiti walls. The DIY ethic is programmatic: culture counts here, not a high-gloss setting.

Dortmund has its own hip-hop tradition — from the 90s underground crews to current acts like Doze.
