Second edition of the KÖNIGSKLASSE Dortmund Open Air at JunkYard. Eight hip-hop acts from the German-language scene, from underground veterans to local representatives. Admission 3 PM, start 4 PM.

KÖNIGSKLASSE 2026 continues the concept of its premiere: an evening full of German-language rap culture under the open sky. Eight acts will perform one after another on the JunkYard main stage, complemented by DJ sets during changeovers.

Getting There

Subway line U47 from the main station to stop „Huckarde Bahnhof“, then a 10-minute walk to Schlägelstraße. By car: A45 exit Dortmund-Hafen, then towards Huckarde. Parking is limited — public transport is recommended.

Tip

Open air without a roof — bring weatherproof clothing. After the concert, the JunkYard bar and area remain open for after-show atmosphere.

The KÖNIGSKLASSE Dortmund Open Air celebrated its premiere in 2025 and returns in 2026 for its second edition. Conceived as a stage for German-language hip-hop from underground legends to newcomers, it brings a packed lineup to the outdoor floor of JunkYard Dortmund on May 30, 2026.

The JunkYard at Schlägelstraße 57 in the Huckarde district is one of Dortmund's most extraordinary concert venues — a former scrap yard transformed by an association into an open-air site with a main stage, ship container sculptures, and graffiti walls.
